Beyond Difference is a not for profit organisation and collects data only to establish, maintain and administer membership.  Beyond Difference is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR), but is not required to register with the Information Commissioners Office.

Beyond Difference collects, stores and processes data for the following purposes:

  • to establish maintain and administer membership lists
  • to administer public events and ensure attendance limits are respected
  • to promote public events

Contact information for members will be retained unless and until they ask us to remove them from our membership list.

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
